PRIMARY ALUMINIUM

Aluminium is remarkable for the metal's low density and for its ability to resist corrosion due to the phenomenon of passivation. Structural components made from aluminium and its alloys are vital to the aerospace industry and are important in other areas of transportation and structural materials.

 

Primary Aluminium is produce from Alumina designed with Pechiney technology, produces floury alumina and has a capacity of 230,000 metric tonnes a year.

 

Annual capacity of production of Aluminium ingot/bar 102 000 t.

Production is registered at the following international metal exchanges:

London Metal Exchange (LME) – registration of Aluminium metal qualities 99.7

Shanghai Metal Exchange Market (SHMET) – registration of Aluminium metal qualities 99.7

 

 

FOUNDRY ALUMINIUM ALLOY

Aluminium alloys with a wide range of properties are used in engineering structures. Alloy systems are classified by a number system (ANSI) or by names indicating their main alloying constituents (DIN and ISO). Selecting the right alloy for a given application entails considerations of its tensile strength, density, ductility, formability, workability, weldability, and corrosion resistance, to name a few.

 

Alloy plant production capacity is 50 000 t.
